Uh....sorry to hear that John........

That HRV is a great unit but it may not be able to keep up should the tank contents pour out onto the floor.

I'm afraid that the warranty is now null and void.

The bad part is the crack is going down the side alittle bit so I hope I can find a 300 gallon stock tank. Shutting down the big boy.

Not good!

Will that be a warranty replacement or just a fix?

If the warranty is past you can always glue a square piece of acrylic to that corner and it should be good....won't be as pretty but it should hold.

Sure would make me nervous about the rest of the tank though.

Yes it does I dont know what Im going to do if he wont replace it. Might be a good time to think about getting out. I could buy a old hotrod or a really big inground pool for what it costs me to run this tank.

I wouldn't go the inground pool route they're just as expensive and you only use them 3 months out of the year.

Wow John that really sucks. Hopefully it will be a warrenty issue that will get taken care of. I know it is still a pain in the arse to break down a tank into a tub and set it back up. I had to do that a couple years ago.

Sorry John

Hope you get some good news about the warranty . It would be a shame to have to get out because of a tank issue . Let me know if there is anything I can help with

John

I have a 100-110 gallon stock tank that is empty if you need to use it for awhile, and I live close.

Dude, that sucks! I'm having a hard time seeing the crack in your pics, is the corner seam pulling apart? Where is the crack at on the tank?

Thanks guys I didnt drain the tank Chad and I took some acrilic and shored up the top and bottom of the crack. I will take a better pic later. It goes from the front of the euro bracing and goes out to the side all the way to the out side panel. I talked to Gary and I will get a answer Monday but for now I will just keep a real close eye on it.
