20 gallon stocking help

Hey guys I need some advice for my stocking on my 20 gallon tank. Right now I have a small royal gramma. I am really looking to get a sand sifting fish to keep the sand clean. But I also wanted to get one ocellaris clownfish. So I would have a royal gramma, maybe some type of goby, and an ocellaris clownfish, with various coral. Would I be over stocked? If I am can someone give me some suggestions. And can someone give me an idea for a sand sifting fish.

a 20g is way too small for a sand sifting goby, but maybe a shrimp goby and pistol shrimp pair might sift a bit of sand. IMO I would get a pair of ocellaris clowns, not that much more of a bioload, and it will stay with its mate (mine mainly do).

Oh yeah yeah thats exactly what I meant,a shrimp goby that will sift sand.So are you saying maybe a yellow watchman goby, with a pistol shrimp, and a pair of ocellaris clowns? Or are you saying either get a shrimp goby with a pistol shimp, or a pair of ocellaris clowns?

I think they would both be fine, but I would get whichever one you want more first, then add in the other if you think there is room.

in my 20 with four fish was maxed out bioload and the filter wc etc were having a har time keeping the trate down...since my mini carpet ate my chromis the trates have come way down...

i would say 3 fish are a max in a 20..4 if one or two are really small..and will stay that way..i know have 2 clowns and a 6line.

Ok I think I will stay with three. But I cant decide if I want a pair of clowns, or one clown and some kind of shrimp goby.
